Clypi turns long videos into short vertical clips and, when you ask it to, posts them to your TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts. This policy explains what Clypi handles and why.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist on clypi.ai, we store the first name and email you enter, the date you signed up, and the country your connection came from. We use them only to tell you about Clypi, such as early access and launch news. We never sell them. To be removed, email the address at the bottom of this page.
What Clypi uses
- Your videos. Clypi processes the videos you choose on your own computer to transcribe them, pick clips, reframe them and add captions.
- Transcripts. The text transcript of a video is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to suggest which moments make good clips. Video and audio files are not sent.
- Connected accounts. When you connect TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, Clypi receives a sign-in token and basic profile details (such as your display name or channel name) from that platform. Tokens are stored on your computer and used only to publish the clips you approve.
- Captions and schedules. The captions, hashtags and posting times you set are stored on your computer.
What Clypi does with it
- Uploads a clip to a platform only after you approve it and choose to post or schedule it.
- Reads only what it needs to publish: your account identity and the permission to upload or post videos.
- Does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the services named here.
Services Clypi works with
Using Clypi also involves these services, each under its own privacy policy: TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook), Google (YouTube) and Anthropic.
Removing access
You can disconnect Clypi at any time from your account settings on TikTok, Facebook (Business integrations) or Google (Third-party connections). Deleting Clypi's folder on your computer removes the clips, transcripts and tokens stored there.
Children
Clypi is not intended for anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
